I'm not one for blogs or journals, I believe experiences should be lived and not documented unless they are really valuable to you or history. So when you marry an alien plz document it.

2007 is almost over, Christmas is almost here and I find myself troubled, good year, bad year? My mood tells me it was a good year, but I think I am just forgetting all the crap earlier in the year. Earlier in the year I felt awful and worn down, I was lost, my family was busy, mum was dealing with breast cancer and going through treatment and later dad would have a heart attack.
And yet what I can remember of this year that makes me smile is that we had a wonderful holiday in beautiful new zealand, I had a good time at work, people were nice to me. In the latter part of the year I felt carefree, fulfilled, energised, I had direction. The trials my family and I had dealt with this year have been tough, but I wont allow myself to sit and think about problems of the past anymore. I cant change the past (yet), i cant fix things beyond repair and dwelling on the negative will make me a sad person whos no fun.
So I have declared war on the first half of 2007, instead I will remember the good times I had, the moments when I laughed and lol'd, the gifts I gave and received, the friendships I made and that wonderful feeling of contentment I get late at night.
